For her pioneering work pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and invaluable contributions to the Alberta arts community, our very own Ishita Singla , founder and artistic director of Madhuban, was honoured with the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal. Ishita's recognition represents every artist in Madhuban and in the artist community who has ever sought a place to safely, bravely, and freely express themselves.
